Overview of JASMINE (Jasminum officinale, J. grandiflorum)
Jasmine absolute is one of the most expensive floral extracted oils. Large quantities of flowers are needed to produce a small amount of oil.
However, its exquisite aroma — sweet, floral, with almost harsh honey-like tones — is so strong that very little is needed. It is dark brown and somewhat reddish in color.
Methods of use: bath, face oil, lotion. If you feel extravagant, it can be used in an essence burner.
Caution: Avoid in early pregnancy.
